Law degree from Universidad de Chile, 1983. He has practiced as a litigator since the beginning of his professional career, representing various domestic banks in court proceedings and advising national and foreign companies.

Until 1997, he served as assistant professor of Civil Law at Universidad de Chile.

Since 1999, he has been a professor of Civil Law at Universidad del Desarrollo.

He has taught various specialized courses in civil law matters and chaired the Professional Development Committee of the Colegio de Abogados de Chile.
He is the author of numerous articles and monographs.

He has also contributed to the preparation of new editions of the Civil Law books authored by Pablo Rodríguez Grez.

He has served as arbitrator at the Santiago Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM Santiago) since 2009.

Member of the Colegio de Abogados de Chile and member of its Board of Directors since 2011.  He served as its President for the 2024–2025 term.

He has worked at Rodríguez, Vergara & Cía. since 1998, when he joined as a legal clerk.

Given his extensive career, he has broad experience in civil and commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on case proceedings before the Courts of Appeals.

Law degree from Universidad del Desarrollo (2016) and Master’s in Tort and Civil Liability Law from Universidad de Los Andes (2025).

He has worked at Rodríguez, Vergara & Cía. since 2014, when he joined as a legal clerk. He has solid experience in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation, as well as in domestic arbitration proceedings.

Since 2017, he has been a professor of Civil Law at the School of Law of Universidad del Desarrollo.

Member of the Chilean Bar Association.

Since 2022, she has been part of Rodríguez, Vergara & Cía., where she practices as a litigator in civil and commercial cases before both ordinary and arbitral courts. She also serves as clerk and secretary in arbitration proceedings appointed by the Santiago Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM Santiago) and by the ordinary courts.

Since 2024, she has been a professor of Procedural Law at the School of Law of Universidad del Desarrollo.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Procedural Law at Universidad de Los Andes.

Member of the Chilean Bar Association.

JOSÉ MARÍA REYES TAGLE

Law degree from Universidad de Los Andes, 2022. He has been part of Rodríguez, Vergara & Cía. since 2021, when he joined as a legal clerk.

He practices as a litigator in civil and commercial cases before both ordinary and arbitral courts. He also serves as clerk and secretary in arbitration proceedings appointed by the Santiago Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM Santiago) and the ordinary courts, including proceedings before sole arbitrators and multi-member arbitral tribunals.

Since 2024, he has been a teaching assistant for the Litigation Skills and Negotiation before Higher Courts course at Universidad del Desarrollo. In 2024, he completed specialized studies in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at Harvard.

DIEGO GUIJÓN MARTÍNEZ

He has worked at Rodríguez, Vergara & Cía. since 2022, where he serves as a research attorney specializing in arbitration.

Trained in Cybersecurity with a Diploma from Universidad de Chile. Skilled in legal technology applications, secure information management, and the use of Artificial Intelligence tools in legal proceedings.

Proficient in digital platforms and technology-assisted document analysis methodologies.

Member of the Chilean Bar Association.

GERMÁN SUBERCASEAUX SOUSA

Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, 2004. He holds specialized studies in Competition Economics from Universidad de Los Andes and an Executive Diploma from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

He has built a distinguished career in litigation and arbitration, having been part of firms such as Subercaseaux y Hellmich, Bulnes, Urrutia y Bustamante, Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría, and Puga Ortiz & Cía. He also served as Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Education. He is an arbitrator at the Santiago Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM Santiago) and at the Santiago Court of Appeals.

He has taught at the university level and is the author of legal publications.

MARÍA FRANCISCA BARROS ALCALDE

Lawyer from Universidad de los Andes, admitted to practice in 2019.

During her studies, she was awarded the Honor Scholarship for outstanding academic performance and received the “Estudio Claro y Cía” Award for excellence in Civil Law, as well as the “Public Law” and “Criminal Law” awards for her academic performance in Constitutional, Administrative, and Criminal Law.

She served as a Teaching Assistant in Criminal Law at Universidad de los Andes from 2015 to 2016.
